Strategy & Efficiency

Steer recruiting instead of just working through it. From analytics to organizational structure to connecting mana HR with the rest of your IT.

mana HR brings the control layer of recruiting together in three modules: Analytics for data-driven decisions, Organizational Structure for an overview of teams, departments and locations, and Integrations for connecting mana HR with the rest of your IT. The system captures recruiting metrics like time-to-hire, conversion and drop-off automatically. The organizational structure maps your company visually, even across multiple locations and legal entities. And the integrations make sure your recruiting data doesn't sit as an island next to your HR administration: Microsoft Outlook Calendar and single sign-on natively, a Power BI feed for your BI environment and an open REST API for everything else. Plus personal customer success support included by default.

What is the Strategy & Efficiency cluster at mana HR built for?

Understand your data, keep your structure in view, connect your systems. This is the layer above the day-to-day, built for the larger DACH mid-market with 250 to 2,000 employees. Strategy & Efficiency is one of three solution areas at mana HR and answers the questions that leadership asks.

What holds Analytics, Organizational Structure and Integrations together?

All three modules work beyond the daily flow of incoming applications. They are the layer above it. Analytics shows what works and where your recruiting stalls. The organizational structure maps your company with all its teams, departments and locations visually, so you can see at any time how the organization is built and who is responsible for what. The integrations make sure your recruiting data doesn't sit as an island next to the rest of your IT.

The through-line is simple: understand, structure, connect. While recruiting and recruitment marketing do the work, this area answers the questions that come afterward. How long does a hire really take? Where do candidates drop off? How is the team spread across locations? And how does the data get to wherever else it's needed?

Which recruiting situation is this cluster especially relevant for?

For companies in the larger DACH mid-market that are past the operational basics. You have job postings, applicant management and onboarding under control. Now you want to know which channels actually bring in applications, how long your hires take and where candidates drop off.

A typical trigger: leadership asks for metrics, and the answer still comes together through an Excel export. Or your grown structure exists only in people's heads and in lists. Or mana HR runs as a recruiting specialist alongside an existing HR suite, and the recruiting data needs to land where HR administration happens. Typically: 250 to 2,000 employees, multiple locations, several departments involved in recruiting.

What does mana HR do differently in Strategy & Efficiency?

Three things.

First, reporting on three levels: standard dashboards for the day-to-day, custom reports for individual questions and a Power BI feed for your BI environment. No Excel export as a workaround, but data directly in mana HR.

Second, connected, not isolated. The Microsoft Outlook Calendar and single sign-on are included natively and only need to be approved once by your IT team. For everything else, such as HR administration, digital personnel files or payroll, there is an open REST API. The integrations themselves are part of the flat rate. Only when mana HR builds a custom connection for you do consulting and development costs apply. That is the only paid item at all, and we'd rather name it openly than present it later as a surprise.

Third, a personal customer success manager with a semi-annual review cycle. Your CSM knows your setup and helps you build out your reports, not just with the initial rollout. Product support with a four-hour response time runs independently.

Frequently asked questions

What does Strategy & Efficiency include at mana HR?

Three modules that go beyond the operational recruiting day-to-day. Analytics delivers recruiting metrics automatically and visualized. The organizational structure maps your company with teams, locations and permission hierarchy visually. The integrations connect mana HR with the rest of your IT, via Microsoft Outlook Calendar, single sign-on, a Power BI feed and an open REST API. All three modules are part of the mana HR flat rate.

Which recruiting metrics does mana HR provide?

mana HR captures recruiting metrics automatically. These include time-to-hire, response time, application quality and channel performance. You use predefined reports for standard questions and build your own analysis for individual needs. For connecting to your BI landscape, there is the Power BI connection. Recurring reports can be automated.

Which systems can be connected to mana HR?

Two ways. Included natively are the Microsoft Outlook Calendar for scheduling interviews and single sign-on for signing in with your existing Microsoft account. Both only need to be approved once by your IT team. In addition, the Power BI feed brings recruiting data such as time-to-hire, channel performance and application quality into your BI environment. For everything else, there is the open REST API. Typical cases are HR administration, digital personnel files and payroll software. Data flows in both directions. Your IT team can handle the implementation, or you can commission mana HR to do it. In the second case, consulting and development costs apply.

Do I need the organizational structure in recruiting?

For companies with multiple locations, departments or business units, the organizational structure gives a visual overview of how your company is built. You see which teams exist and who owns which areas. Especially helpful when grown structures otherwise exist only in people's heads or in Excel lists.

Are Analytics, Organizational Structure and Integrations included in the flat rate?

Yes. All three modules are part of the mana HR flat rate with no job or seat limits. No add-on module, no feature tiers. You use them from day one at no extra cost. That also applies to the native integrations and the Power BI feed. One single item is chargeable: if you commission mana HR to build a custom connection via the REST API for you, consulting and development costs apply. The interface itself is open and free of charge. You can also have the connection implemented by your own IT team.
